This little cutie is a precious baby I have named MAGGIE. She is a 4 year old, 8 pound poodle with maybe a mix of Maltese in her. Her coat is curly and straight in some areas. She will need to be groomed on a regular basis about every 2 months. Her color is really a beautiful golden with white on her head. MAGGIE follows me around everywhere in anticipation of getting a belly rub, she readily turns over on her back so she can get some love and attention. She is very crate trained and can be trusted in the home alone while you are out running errands. She just needs a little bed or a blanket to cuddle up on. MAGGIE is also a very good road buddy as she likes to go with you, walks well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick and she is small enough to go everywhere with you. MAGGIE is in a foster home with big and small dogs and she does great with all of them. She is really a people dog and prefers to cuddle with me and follow me around than to play with the other dogs. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maggie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maggie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Maggie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maggie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
