About this Dog
SONIC is a 3 year old, 15 pound Pekingese male who has a brother in ANTWAN, a 3 year old, 20 pound Shih Tzu. They were owner surrendered by a lady who started a 2-legged human family and could not give these guys the time and love they deserve. They certainly deserve a 2nd home that can offer them love. I do not have pictures of them together but included a picture of ANTWAN on here and you can look him up on our website below. SONIC is a super sweet and mellow guy, he is bonded with ANTWAN. As I am writing this, ANTWAN actually jumped the puppy gate and upstairs with me and SONIC is downstairs barking for him to come back. Neither of them are barkers, both are very quiet. I am not sure I can separate them and I am evaluating them while they are in my home. They do play with other dogs but they stick by each other. ANTWAN is the more outgoing independent one while SONIC is more of a cuddle bug baby. Both of them crave attention and love and they are very well-mannered. They walk well on a leash and ride in the car without getting sick. For the time being I would love for them to go to the same home together as the owner told me they have been together all of their lives. If you are interested in adopting both of them or at least have another dog in the home that either of them can bond with, please submit an application on the website below. 100% of Sonic's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Sonic.
Adopt Sonic and Receive Sonic's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sonic's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sonic's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sonic, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sonic's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sonic was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sonic’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sonic’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sonic’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
