Well Hello, I am Dolly. I am 7 years old and weight about 13 pounds! A couple of things about me...I am super cuddly and I love laps and naps! I love chew toys and balls and I'm very neat with my toys....I keep them in one pile in my bed! I will need to be introduced slowly to visitors in my home but I think I'll get better with time once I feel secure in my home with my new parents. Right now, I bark at visitors until I get used to them and they've given me a couple of snacks! I like people but really would like a quieter home without a lot of people and would not be good in an apartment. My foster mom thinks I have the sweetest face and soulful eyes! I'm house trained and I've learned to be OK with the crate when my foster mom leaves the house. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dolly May was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dolly May’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dolly May’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dolly May’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
