Elsie was only 13 months old when she became a mama cat though no fault of her own. She had 3 kittens with no place for them to grow up safely. Luckily, Elsie was rescued and taken in to be fostered with her 3 kittens so she could have plenty of food and a safe place for her kittens to grow up. Her kittens have been vetted and adopted so now it is Elsie's turn to be spayed and to find a safe home of her own. Elsie is very sweet with very soft hair. She enjoys being picked up and responds to attention from humans. Elsie has now been spayed, has received her rabies vaccination, Microchip, her FVRCP vaccinations and is now ready for her own home.Of course, she uses a litter box. She is fostered in a private home with other cats. Elsie would probably prefer a home where she is the star and can have all the attention. Elsie would like to be an indoor/outdoor cat. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ELSIE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ELSIE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ELSIE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ELSIE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
