About this Dog
Ross is an energetic boy who is estimated to be about 2-3 years old and was picked up as a stray. He weighs about 70 pounds and is dog friendly. He loves to run and play with his foster brother, who is a large Rottweiler, and is very gentle with his foster sisters, who are about 50 pounds. We aren’t sure how he is with little dogs. We don’t know much about his history, but he is easily frightened, especially with unfamiliar/new situations and is inclined to move away when he is approached or is uncomfortable. If he initiates contact with you, he will lean against you and loves pets and scratches. He seems to want love and attention but doesn’t know how to ask for it (or trust that he will receive it). He doesn’t know many commands (we are working on sit and come) and is somewhat motivated by treats. His food disappears quickly and he likes to hide his toys in his crate. He is okay on a leash and likes to run and play when he is comfortable – he is a very fast runner. With time and patience, he is learning that humans can be loving and trusted. He would do best in a home with no small children or cats and would enjoy the company of another dog. His owner should be prepared to be patient and gentle with Ross as he continues to build trust. The result will be a wonderful companion. Upon approval to adopt, you will be sent SSRR Decompression and Introduction requirements that we require ALL of our adopters to follow . You will be asked to acknowledge receipt of these requirements, verify that you have read them and that you will follow them.

Adopt Ross and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ross's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Ross's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Ross, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ross's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ross was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ross’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Ross’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ross’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
