Mary is the kind of dog who makes you feel like the most important person in the world the moment you meet her. With her gentle eyes and heart-melting smile, sheâs the sweetest girl you could ask for. Sheâs calm, friendly, and always ready for some love: pets, kisses, belly rubs, you name it! Her favorite thing in the world is simply being by your side.Mary is great on a leash and walks like a dream without pulling. She knows how to sit and lay on command, takes treats gently from your hand, and will often roll over to politely request more belly rubs. While sheâs mostly a lower-energy girl, every now and then she surprises us with a burst of zoomies. Mary does well with other dogs and has been friendly and submissive during playgroups at the shelter. Sheâs more of a quiet companion than a rowdy playmate, but sheâs happy to hang out near her doggy friends and enjoy the company. This sweet mama came to us with three puppies in tow â and all of her babies have found homes of their own. Now itâs Maryâs turn to be the one who gets doted on. Sheâs already given so much love⦠itâs time she received the same in return.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and MARY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, MARY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the MARY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, MARY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
