Venus is a gentle soul with a quiet curiosity and a heart full of calm. She prefers to keep things low-key. Sheâs more of an observer than a player, content to sniff around and take in the scene. She enjoys treats (and takes them politely from your hand), but hasnât picked up any tricks just yet. Thatâs okay thoughâher charm doesnât need rehearsing. Sheâs an excellent leash walker, and very sweet, mellow, and independent. Sheâs happy to be pet, but just as content to do her own thing. Despite her calm nature, Venus is quite (accidently) hilarious! Her cheeks often get stuck on her teeth leaving her making the silliest faces. She doesnât know how funny she is â sheâs just vibing! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and VENUS was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, VENUS’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the VENUS’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, VENUS’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
