About this Dog
We named this guy Bandit because heâs EXTREMELY likely to steal your heart. Heâs affectionate, but not needy, and has a tragic backstory to boot. Whatâs not to love! Bandit came to us on 1/23/25, injured and caked with dried mud. He had lots of puncture wounds all over, but mostly on his legs. His rear legs were the most seriously injured. It seemed like heâd been attacked by another animal. X-Rays showed he had old fractures of his right tibia and fibula. Our on staff medical team initially though he would require an amputation, but thankfully with time and a little extra TLC he healed to the point where it was no longer necessary. He is able to walk and run easily, though he does occasionally throw in a bit of a limp to remind you of how far heâs come. Now that he doesnât have any injuries to distract you, you can focus on how sweet and what a gentleman he is. Heâs a very good boy with great leash manners. Heâs a calm guy with a versatile energy level. When itâs playtime heâs got lots of energy, but when itâs time to relax heâs perfectly content to chill out and cuddle. Heâs perfectly happy to entertain himself by exploring and sniffing around, but his favorite thing in the world is to be loved on. Heâll sit sweetly by your side for as long as youâll pet him, and heâll only interrupt you to give you some kisses as a thank you. He sits and shakes on command, and he always takes his treats so nicely from you. Heâs also proven himself to already be potty trained! Kids and other dogs alike are a yes for him. Heâs very friendly and has gotten along well with everyone heâs met so far â including younger, special needs children. So go ahead, let Bandit steal your heart! Heâll take great care of it and is looking forward to becoming your lifelong best friend.

Adopt BANDIT and Receive BANDIT's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, BANDIT's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is BANDIT's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the BANDIT, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming BANDIT's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BANDIT was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BANDIT’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the BANDIT’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BANDIT’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
