About this Dog
Meet Hope A True Survivor with So Much Love to Give Hope is a beautiful 3-year-old Pit/Catahoula mix weighing 53 lbs, and her name couldn't be more fitting. Found off Sky Harbor in Rockwall on 5/23/25, Hope arrived at the shelter in heartbreaking conditionshe was missing nearly 90% of her fur, severely underweight, and had painfully overgrown nails. Despite it all, this brave girl never gave up. From the moment she arrived, Hope has lived up to her namegreeting every new day with a wagging tail and a heart full of trust. With the love and care of RAC staff and volunteers, her fur is growing back beautifully, and she's blossoming into the healthy, affectionate girl she was always meant to be. Hope adores attention and companionship, and she's quickly become a favorite around the shelter. She does well with other dogs and enjoys their company, but if you have a pup at home, a meet and greet is recommended to make sure it's a good match. She is spayed, microchipped, current on rabies and basic vaccines, and heartworm negative. She's ready to start her next chapterand all she needs now is a family to believe in her. If you're ready to give this incredible girl the loving home she deserves, please submit an adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Once received, the RAC team will be in touch with next steps. Hope never gave up on lovecould you be the one she's been waiting for?

Adopt Hope and Receive Hope's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Hope's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Hope's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Hope, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Hope's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hope was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hope’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Hope’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hope’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
