About this Dog
Hey there! I'm Hopper! I'm an approximately 6 week old, male, Lab mix puppy. I was found on Pullen Road in Rockwall County of 07/07/2025 and brought to the shelter on 07/08/2025. Sadly, my owners did not come for me, so now I am ready to find my furr ever home! I am currently available for pre-adoption and will be able to go home on Tuesday, July 15th. I am a sweet boy who is looking forward to finding a home with a family who has plenty of time and patience to help me grow to the best family companion I can be! I am just a baby and will need guidance on everything it means to be a dog. I am battling a pretty bad case of ringworm and will be on medication until 08/08/2025. If I am adopted during my treatment, I will be sent home with the remainder of the medication. Ringworm is a highly contagious fungal infection affection my skin and it is transferrable to other animals and humans. It is recommended that I be kept separate during my treatment so as not to spread the ringworm. Since I am so young, meet and greets will be by approved application only. I am scheduled for my neuter on Wednesday, August 20th and am required to return to the shelter for this procedure. My adoption fee is $125 and that includes my spay, microchip, rabies vaccination, 1st set of puppy boosters, and 1st dewormer. Please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application and RAC staff will be in touch with approved applicants on next steps.

Adopt Hopper and Receive Hopper's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Hopper's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Hopper's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Hopper, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Hopper's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hopper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hopper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Hopper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hopper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
