About this Dog
** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process. Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ ** Martina McBark is one of a litter of seven Siberian Huskies born on May 22. They are all smart, very social, affectionate and a lot of fun. By the time they were 8 weeks old, they already knew how to use the dog door. Although they aren't always good about going out to do their "business", they are good about using pee pads. At 8 weeks old, Martina weighed a little over 5-1/2#. Her ideal owner should have experience with Huskies as they often can require extra training, mental stimulation, and extensive amounts of physical exercise than more sedentary breeds. Huskies also are heavy shedders and require frequent brushing to maintain a beautiful coat. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until her puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, she may chew on anything within her reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. Her adoption fee is $300. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references, and criminal histories. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Additional questions may be directed to [email protected]. ** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Adopt Martina McBark and Receive Martina McBark's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Martina McBark's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Martina McBark's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Martina McBark, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Martina McBark's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Martina McBark was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Martina McBark’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Martina McBark’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Martina McBark’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
