Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ ** Tim McGrowl is one of a litter of seven Siberian Huskies born May 22. They are all very social, smart, affectionate and a lot of fun. By 8 weeks of age, they had figured out the dog door. Although they aren't really good (yet) about going outside to do their "business", they are good with using the pee pad. Tim weighed a little over 6-1/2# at 8 weeks of age. His ideal owner should have experience with Huskies as they often can require extra training, mental stimulation, and extensive amounts of physical exercise than more sedentary breeds. Huskies also are heavy shedders and require frequent brushing to maintain a beautiful coat. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until his puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, he may chew on anything within his reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. His adoption fee is $300. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references, and criminal histories. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232.
