About this Dog
Harper is a beautiful 1 year old husky that was going to be euthanized after being hit by a car. When arriving to the rescue, she had head trauma, couldn’t walk, had a fractured hip, and was 10 lbs underweight. But even when she reaches her ideal weight, she’s quite small in stature for a husky. A petite girl. Despite her traumatic past, she is very friendly, housebroken, playful, and very energetic. Her hip is recovering well, and she should have full function back by the end of March. We could already tell she can’t wait to run! She’s had limited interactions with other dogs due to her injury, but she doesn’t really care for them anyhow. She’s pretty indifferent to other dogs and definitely more interested in people. She loves every person she meets: everyone is her best friend and she loves belly rubs. Unlike most huskies, she’s quite eager to please… though treats don’t hurt! She is motivated by food and has quite the appetite. One husky trait she definitely does have is shedding and vocalness. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for her. She’ll need a home that can offer her an active lifestyle and lots of attention. We don’t want to hear “I don’t have time for her” — the classic excuse why people surrender their huskies. They’re a high-activity sled dog who needs lots of exercise and mental enrichment. She’ll be available for out of state adoption, and we can help adopters arrange transport. She is currently in Austin, TX. She is currently looking for a foster in the meantime. Adopt Harper and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Harper's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Harper's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Harper, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Harper's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Harper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Harper’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Harper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Harper’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
