About this Dog
Reining my dog Winnie. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I'm no longer able to care for my dog, Winnie, and am searching for a loving forever home where all her needs can be met. She is 9 years old and has been with me for about 6 years. She is spayed and is coming due for basic shots soon. She is in great health and has no medical history to be concerned about. She is a mix of blue heeler and border collie. Winnie is a playful, energetic, and affectionate dog. One of Winnie's most endearing qualities is the sense of security she brings to those around her. She's incredibly protective and obedient, responding reliably to basic commands like "sit" and "lay." She does well in her kennel and is house-trained. She adapts well to new people and environments and is comfortable with apartment living, though she equally enjoys the freedom of a backyard. Her favorite pastimes include playing with her toys and a good game of fetch. Winnie generally gets along with most dogs, especially those her size or larger (she is about 25 pounds). She loves everyone she meets, including children. She does best in homes without cats. I am located in the Kyle/ Hays County area. Willing to travel to you. Rehoming fee: $25

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Winnie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Winnie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Winnie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Winnie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
