Heidi is currently located in Texas! Heidi would make a great Mal for an active family home or maybe even a sport home. She is one of the sweetest, most well behaved dogs you’ll ever meet! She LOVES learning new things and loves pleasing her human. Heidi is VERY versatile and would love to learn more obedience commands and possibly some scent work and dock diving! She loves water, plays fetch, loves her ball, and loves to cuddle! Heidi needs a dog experienced home that will keep structure in Heidi's life and give her lots of outlets for her mind and body. She is not a dominant dog and loves playing with other dogs. Heidi has become much more confident thanks to her foster mom and has learned many new commands while in her care! She is now considered a well trained dog! Heidi loves to have zoomies in the yard and will make you forget how old she is - and it’s probably one of the cutest things you’ll ever see! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Heidi -TX was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Heidi -TX’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Heidi -TX’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Heidi -TX’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
