About this Dog
His name is Timber and he is 7 years old and he weighs about 100 pounds, he was abused by my late wife's ex husband and he has trust issues with some people. When I met my late wife it took about a day for him to get comfortable with me, but once he was comfortable he was my best friend, he gets along with smaller dogs and some bigger dogs as long they are calm. When my late wife died he took it hard and became more protective over me and I have been working with him and he trust issues with other people and other dogs and he has gotten a lot better. He is up to date with all of his shots and heartworm meds, and he has been taking chewable flea meds from the vet, along with heartworm meds. He has developed some hot spot on his back that have started since my wife died, but i have been treating them with lotion from the vet. I have been giving him multivitamins to keep him healthy and his hips are in good shape. He is a good boy, and deserves to be loved and have a loving family.

How will Timber receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Timber, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Timber's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Timber was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Timber’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Timber’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Timber’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
