About this Dog
Maggie is a pretty red girl who was found as a stray and not reclaimed. She's a sweet gal who has had multiple mammary tumors removed and she was spayed at the same time. She appears to be a bit hard of hearing, but not deaf. Maggie, aka Little Mama, is a wonderful dog. She is brilliant with kids and other dogs, potty trained, and a friendly little lap dog that wags her nub of a tail anytime you even look her way. She is loving and extremely quiet. Her foster family has fattened her up some from the gaunt figure she was when they picked her up, and all of her surgery wounds have long since healed. She is mostly deaf which does not seem to bother her at all. Her eyes are clear, and her teeth are in very good condition for an older dog. Potential adopters should understand that Maggie is a TRAVELER. If she is able to get out front, she will just keep walking and cannot hear calls to come back. Her foster home has very strict rules that Maggie must not escape out any doors and they use a chamber system (very much like the Panama Canal) to make sure she does not have access to an outside door. :) Maggie is also a stage 5 clinger. This is a bonus for a person looking for a constant companion, but for those who prefer a more independent BT, Maggie would not be the right fit. She stays with her person all day, every day. We think Maggie would be an amazing lap dog for an older person who is looking for a loving, sweet, joyful companion. She weighs very little and even helps you pick her up with a *hop* into your arms. She LOVES being picked up. She also enjoys sleeping ALL day. All adoptions begin with our online application at www.abtrr.org. If you have questions about Maggie, please email us at [email protected]. Maggie Red is being fostered in the North Central Texas area. While we do have a phone number, we have a very small volunteer base and we are often unable to return phone calls in a timely manner. Adopt Maggie and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Maggie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Maggie's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Maggie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Maggie's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maggie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maggie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Maggie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maggie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
