🐾 Nibbles Needs a Loving New Home 🐾 Breed: Black and Tan Shepherd Mix (possible German Shepherd mix) Age: Approximately 3–4 years old Sex: Female, spayed Meet Nibbles — a sweet, smart, and loving girl looking for the perfect forever home. Nibbles came into my life about three years ago when she followed me home one day. Her owner came to collect her, but she found her way right back and never left again — he never returned for her. I fell in love with her and let her stay, but due to circumstances beyond my control (my ex abandoned seven of her own dogs on me), I now have more dogs than I can properly care for, and I need to find some of them wonderful new homes — including Nibbles. Why you'll love her: Gentle, kind, and affectionate temperament Great with other dogs and with kids Very smart and eager to please Knows basic commands: sit, stay, lay down, come, go lay down, no. Leash trained, crate trained, and fully house broken Healthy with a beautiful, shiny black and tan coat Spayed and in overall good health What she needs: Nibbles is active and loves to play. Given her Shepherd-type build and energy, she needs plenty of room to run or long daily walks to stay happy and healthy. She'd do best with an active family or an individual who can give her space and exercise. She's currently living on 20 acres and has been kept safely indoors during extreme heat, cold, and at night, so she's used to being part of the household.
I love this dog dearly and only want the best for her. How will Nibbles receive the contribution?

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nibbles was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nibbles’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Nibbles’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Nibbles’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
