About this Dog
Nala is a sweet dog that needs a home with an active family. She is a shepherd mix but I'm not sure what type of shepherd she is. Nala loves kids, other dogs, and adores people of all ages. She is perpetually happy and is always wagging her tail. She will go in a crate, however we do not keep her in one. She thinks she's a lap dog and loves cuddles. Nala loves to run and would love a large yard, however the yard would need to be secured. We are looking to rehome Nala because she is an escape artist and can jump fences, as well as find ways through fences. She barks at other people and dogs through the fence and we're concerned if she gets excited and jumps the fence when there is another dog, that dog may be aggressive and hurt Nala or she may get hit by a car. We hope to find a loving home for Nala where she's safe and secure.

How will Nala receive the contribution?

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nala was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nala’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Nala’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Nala’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
