Meet Samson, the newest arrival to CTDR. After Samsons' owners passed away, he was surrendered to a local vet clinic where he has spent the last 5 years living there as the resident doxie. When he arrived at the vet clinic, he was already paralyzed and Samson gets around with his set of wheels. He is fully vetted and would love to find a home where he can spend the rest of h.is golden years. He is a total love bug and sure would love his very own family. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Samson's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Samson was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Samson’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Samson’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Samson’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
