Let's give a big CTDR welcome to sweet Reecie. Reecie was surrendered to CTDR after her owner could no longer care for her. Reecie's human dad passed away very suddenly and her human mom went back to work and could not care for her. CTDR was honored to be asked to help find Reecie her forever home. Reecie had a back injury a couple of years ago and while on crate rest, she decided to gnaw off her back legs. Reecie is an active little girl as she has a set of wheels and also a Scooter that she gets around in. Reecie is cautious when she meets new people and will slowly warm up to you on her time. She is not fond of children so it would be best if she did not go to a home with kids. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl her forever home, please complete an application at ctdr.org.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Reecie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Reecie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Reecie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Reecie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
