DOB 12/2/24, WEIGHT 9.5# Arf! Arf, everyone! I’m Chipilin, an amusing, friendly, and affectionate tri-colored Yorkshire Terrier/ wire-haired Chihuahua mix fella whose only purpose in life is to love and be loved. I weighed 9.5 pounds at 5.5 months old, so I could weigh 14-15 pounds at maturity. I’m devoted to my foster mom and get along nicely with her resident cats. I’m great with well-behaved children who’ve been taught how to handle small dogs. I’m young and frisky, so I love to play with other small dogs (but not big dogs!). Biewer Terriers are very similar to Yorkshire Terriers except we are tri-colored. We are very dedicated, loyal family members who are friendly with strangers. We’re quick to alert you to company, but we’re not constant barkers. I was surrendered to my HOPE foster mom because my previous owner could no longer care for me. I came to Foster Mom already house-, kennel-, and leash-trained, so I’ve been an easy addition to her household. Now I’m ready to bring my happy-go-lucky attitude and whimsical charm to my new family. Could that be you? For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chipilin #happy-go-lucky was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chipilin #happy-go-lucky’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Chipilin #happy-go-lucky’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chipilin #happy-go-lucky’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
