DOB 8/20/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Savannah, a sweet, gentle, easygoing brown tabby gal with an angelic face, a calm spirit, and a heart full of love. I adore it when Foster Meowmy gently scratches my chin, cheeks, and ears. Boy howdy! Does that feel good! And her bed is my favorite spot to sneak a cat nap. I was an eight-month-old stray at some apartments when Foster Meowmy rescued me and my week-old newborn kittens. It was just in the nick of time because my “nest” was in the dirt under some bushes near an air conditioning unit with wires, and there was a torrential thunderstorm that same night! So I’m very grateful that my litter of five kittens weathered the storm in the safe haven of our foster home. When Foster Meowmy first brought me inside, I was shy because I had been fending for myself at a young age and didn’t know whom to trust. However, I warmed up quickly to the love and attention that Foster Meowmy showered on me. Who wouldn’t feel relaxed around someone who is offering you squeezable treats and crunchy Temptations? Now she describes me as “the sweetest, most loyal companion.” I’m barely older than my kittens, so I enjoy playing with them as well as feathered wand toys, crinkle balls, and catnip mice. In my quieter moments, I bask in a patch of sun on the windowsill, where I can view “kitty TV” as the squirrels climb trees and the birds fly by. I even get along with the resident cats, as long as they respect my boundaries. Now that I’ve permanently retired from being a nurturing mother, I’m ready to bring my youthful playfulness and peaceful gentleness to a calm, quiet home. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Savannah #angel-of-tranquility was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Savannah #angel-of-tranquility’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Savannah #angel-of-tranquility’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Savannah #angel-of-tranquility’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
