About this Cat
DOB 5/24/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Jack, a snuggly yet energetic and playful red tabby fella with white tuxedo markings who is named after Jack the Pumpkin King from “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” My favorite parts of the day are when I curl up in Foster Meowmy’s lap to binge on Netflix as well as when I lie on her chest in bed at night. I turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot, when she scratches my ears, chin, and cheeks. Boy howdy! Does that feel good! I like to sleep in the laundry hamper, so Meowmy has to be careful not to wash me with the clothes! But I’m no couch potato! No siree! I love to play interactively with Foster Meowmy when she waves the feathered wand toy over my head or snakes it around the room for me to chase. Plus my siblings and I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other, and when we are exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. My momma was a neighborhood feral, and when we were four weeks old, Foster Meowmy scooped up my #Halloween-quartet litter and brought us into her home. Four weeks was early enough to ensure that we could be socialized to hoomans and therefore be easily adoptable. She bottle-fed us for a few weeks until we were ready for solid food, which only enhanced our bonding to hoomans. I live with two young children (ages 4 and 6), so I am used to being handled by kids. I get along great with the adult male cat, but I’m a little unsure about the small, cat-friendly dog. As long as the dog does not bother me, I am okay. Plus my feline “uncle” teaches me the manners I would’ve learned if Momma had been around. Now I’m ready to snuggle in bed and play with everyone in my new family. Could that be with you? Bring on the kids! If you are looking for a furry Jack-o-Lantern who is the perfect combination of frisky and cuddly, I am your fella! Please consider adopting me with one of my #Halloween-quartet siblings, Spider, Wednesday, or Pumpkin. We think it would be the cat’s meow if we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you are at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! HOPE ID 25-0624-G157 Jack’s $100 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Online application: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Jack will be this week-end, email us at [email protected], and a volunteer will get back to you.

Adopt Jack #Halloween-quartet and Receive Jack #Halloween-quartet's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Jack #Halloween-quartet's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Jack #Halloween-quartet's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Jack #Halloween-quartet, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Jack #Halloween-quartet's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jack #Halloween-quartet was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jack #Halloween-quartet’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jack #Halloween-quartet’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jack #Halloween-quartet’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
