DOB 8/3/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Max, an affectionate, outgoing, and laid-back red tabby fella who’s always on the move. I’m a high-energy adventurer who loves to explore, play, and turn every moment into an exciting game. I’m quite the soccer striker with my plastic spring toys and glitter pom-poms. You should see me scale to the top of the cat tree and zoom around the house. Of course I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings. When I’ve worn myself out with my boisterous antics, I love snuggling with Foster Meowmy in bed or perhaps with one of my siblings, a.k.a. #shed-posse, in a kitten puddle. First my daddy emerged from under a shed in Foster Meowmy’s back yard, so she started feeding him as a stray. Next my momma emerged from under the shed, so she started feeding her too. A few weeks later, Charlie, Sophie, Tito, and I emerged from under the shed looking for food. When some stray neighborhood dogs bit Daddy pretty badly, Foster Meowmy trapped my whole family. Whereas she took my parents to be fixed and released them, she brought the #shed-posse inside to safety since we ended up being sweet, friendly, and sociable. Now I’m ready to find my forever family. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Max #shed-posse was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Max #shed-posse’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Max #shed-posse’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Max #shed-posse’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
