About this Dog
Charle BOP (Big Ole Pooch!) Specs: Breed-ish? We’re not totally sure - thinking Lab & Great Pyrenees - but he is 100% adorable. Bonus : Dog- and kid-friendly, great on a leash, house trained Loves: You (probably), naps, and window-watching like it’s his job A little backstory-- Charlie BOP was adopted from a shelter at just 13 weeks old, back in June of 2021, into a loving home, but where he never learned the typical dog manners — he had no crate training, no dog food (only human food scraps) — but he was very much loved in his own way by his savior adopter and former owner Mr. Jody Cowan. Sadly, Mr. Cowan entered hospice care, and he then passed away on July 5th, 2025. So we're now on a mission to find this sweet boy his next fur-ever home! Charlie BOP is currently being fostered in Central Texas by a wonderful extended family member of the original owners, and this current foster home is helping Charlie BOP to rediscover how to be a great dog with structure, routine, and along with the guidance of his foster siblings, he’s learning quickly and he is making progress every day. Let's please find Charlie BOP the loving fur-ever home he so deserves! Adopt Charlie BOP (Big Ole Pooch!)! Adoption Criteria (adult) 1. Charlie BOP is located in the greater San Antonio, Texas area.
