DOB 2/1/25, expected weight 20-25 pounds Hey there, everyone! I’m Charlie, a gentle, friendly golden pooch with the cutest white mittens that you’ve ever seen! Who knows what breeds went into my mix, but I look a lot like a Corgi with a Rat Terrier’s longer legs and tail. I weighed 18 pounds when I was about 5.5 months old but may weigh 20-25 pounds when I’m full grown. What an all-round perfect size! When I was just 4.5 months old, a Good Samaritan rescued me searching for food with my sister Cleo as we wandered as strays in Missouri City. Boy howdy! I was so relieved that our HOPE foster mom brought us both into the safe refuge of her home as we were much too young to be fending for ourselves. I’ve proved to be a bright new addition to my foster home because I’ve integrated well with the other small dogs, cats, and kids. Plus, being a “puppy prodigy,” I’m already house-, kennel-, and leash-trained. Now I’m ready to bring my amiable personality and puppy playfulness to grace my forever family. Could that be with you? For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Charlie #brother-of-Cleo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Charlie #brother-of-Cleo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Charlie #brother-of-Cleo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Charlie #brother-of-Cleo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
