About this Dog
DOB 5/25/23, weight 12.5 pounds Hey there, everyone! I’m Polo, and I’m a sweet, friendly, and affectionate tricolor Chihuahua mix fella who has the cutest white blaze on my forehead! I do best with lots of close family contact. Wouldn’t you know that cuddling in Foster Mom’s lap is my favorite spot and where I require plenty of quality time? I adore playing with the small dogs in my foster home, and I get along great with the resident cats and with kids. My size makes me an ideal apartment dog, but I relish my daily exercise. Nothing makes me happier than for Foster Mom to invest her time and energy into treating me like a big dog. I make it easy for her because I already walk well on a leash. True confessions: I’m still working on getting housebroken and kennel-trained. I was found with my best friend Paco on the side of the highway. If we were “dumped,” I’ll never tell! Thank heavens a Good Samaritan stopped and scooped us up because I’m much too small to fend for myself. I was so grateful to be welcomed into my foster home, but I’m now ready to bring my high cuteness factor and loving personality to my forever home. Could that be with you? Then arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave itsy-bitsy paw prints all over your heart. Although we’re available separately, Paco and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. Two’s better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID D25-0608-0031 Polo’s $150 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for heartworms, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment for heartworms and fleas. Online application: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Polo will be this week-end, email us at [email protected], and a volunteer will get back to you.

Adopt Polo #bonded-to-Paco and Receive Polo #bonded-to-Paco's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Polo #bonded-to-Paco's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Polo #bonded-to-Paco's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Polo #bonded-to-Paco, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Polo #bonded-to-Paco's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Polo #bonded-to-Paco was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Polo #bonded-to-Paco’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Polo #bonded-to-Paco’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Polo #bonded-to-Paco’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
