About this Cat
DOB 5/1/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Autumn, a sweet, affectionate, and energetic medium-haired calico gal with a one-of-a-kind coat – ginger tabby, gray tabby, and black patches swirled together with white on my paws and undercarriage. This all adds up to make me extra special. I love zooming around with my siblings, pouncing on toys like a fierce little hunter, and turning every day into playtime. But don’t let my frisky side fool you! When I’m done with my frolicking, I’m ready to cuddle as I soak up Foster Meowmy’s love while she gently scratches my head, chin, and cheeks and strokes my back. My family history began several years when a nice one-year-old kitty named Winter gave birth to her first litter of kittens at an apartment complex in southwest Houston. Then just seven months later, both she and her daughter Summer gave birth to a total of nine kittens on the very same day in May! And I’m one of those nine! Winter and Summer merged their two litters so none of us kittens know which one of them is our momma or grandma. They raised us together as true partners to insure that all of us got the nonstop love and nurturing we needed to thrive. When we were six weeks old, a kind HOPE volunteer rescued all eleven of us and brought us into foster care. Unfortunately, we kits were infected with a waterborne parasite called giardia, so we were skinny and dehydrated. Bless Foster Meowmy and HOPE because a prescription cured the giardia, and now all us are fat, healthy, and full of playful energy. By the way, despite our giardia infection and being homeless at such a tender age, from the moment we came to our safe haven, we have always been friendly and begged Foster Meowmy to shower us with her affection. We have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Now I’m ready to bring my fun-loving energy, quiet cuddles, and joyful affection to grace my forever family. Could that be to you? If you’re looking for a beautiful, playful ball of fluff, I’m the gal for you! Arrange to meet me today! Please consider adopting another of my #one-big-happy-litter with me. Two is more fun than one, and we can keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 25-0609-S043 Autumn’s $100 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Online application: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Autumn will be this week-end, email us at [email protected], and a volunteer will get back to you.
