DOB 3/29/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Bella, I’m a feisty, playful Tabico (tabby-calico with a few splashes of peach) gal who sometimes doesn’t know when to stop cavorting. I also love cuddling in Foster Meowmy’s lap because she showers me with hugs and kisses. My favorite trick is to hop on Foster Meowmy’s back when she’s bent over scooping the litterbox or picking up toys off the floor. There’s nothing like a bird’s-eye view when I need to supervise Meowmy’s chores! When we were about six weeks old and with no momma in sight, my sister Mia and I were found by a Good Samaritan, who brought us to HOPE. Boy howdy! We were relieved that we kissed the hardscrabble life goodbye and that Foster Meowmy agreed to take us in. We were much too small to be fending for ourselves. The cornea of my eye was injured when I first came into foster care, but it’s healed up nicely, and I’m doing just fine now. Mia and I fit in seamlessly with the rest of the foster kitties, including three who are about my age. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other as well as with toys, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Now I’m ready to bring my unique combination of feisty playfulness and cuddly devotion to my new family. Could that be with you? For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bella #sister-of Mia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bella #sister-of Mia’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bella #sister-of Mia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bella #sister-of Mia’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
