About this Cat
DOB 2/20/20 Hey there, everyone! I’m Aurora, an easygoing, dreamy, affectionate, and curious tuxedo-tortoiseshell gal with four mittens and a vest who REALLY loves people. I’m a sweetheart who melts your stress away by simply plopping beside you and then settling in for plenty of cuddles and pets. I’ll follow you around the house just to be near you, and I’ll climb right into your lap for snuggles. True confessions -- I tend to get so comfy that I roll right off! It’s not graceful, but then again, I’m a little bit clumsy in the cutest way. Being around me feels like a calm breeze at twilight -- peaceful, grounding, and full of warm wonder. But don’t be fooled by my serene sparkle -- I’m also chatty! I have things to say, and I’m not shy about sharing them. Despite my petite size, I purr REALLY loudly to show my joy that you’re showering me with affection. You might even hear me snore adorably when I’m truly zonked out. Even though I adore attention, I also enjoy exploring as well as relaxing by sunny windows. I also like to “reign” at the top of the cat tree, where I can watch my kingdom below. I’m the kind of cat who loves company but doesn’t need to be the center of attention all the time. Just knowing that you're nearby is all I need. I live with other cats, a dog, and a 3-year-old toddler in my foster home. Although I do prefer that they keep their zoomies to themselves, I’m pretty chill with all of them. Don’t worry -- a timely tap or two alerts them that they should respect my space. My previous owner likely dumped me at a cat-colony feeding station. My striking looks and curious spirit stood out to the kind feeders. Instead of hiding, I chose cautious optimism. I gently rubbed against their legs, asked for affection, and followed them with loyalty in my eyes. I was determined not to be left behind again. Thankfully, I wasn’t. With a shimmering orange light glowing from my forehead and a dazzling coat of orange, white, and black that sparkles like the night sky, I was perfectly named after the auroras that dance across the northern and southern skies. Now I’m ready to bring my chatty and outgoing yet serene and adoring “aura” to bless my forever family. Could that be you? I promise to blend into your home like a beautiful constellation -- peaceful, glowing, and full of love. If you’re looking for a kitty who’ll gladly focus her attention on you, I’m your gal! Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, adopting a kitty like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem has its advantages. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break your treasured accessories. HOPE ID 25-0625-G161 Aurora’s $100 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Aurora #your-stress-reliever’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
