DOB 1/11/23 Hey everyone! We’re Tomm and Jax, bonded brothers who are hoping to be adopted into the same forever home. Tomm says, “I’m a very quiet, calm, and handsome 12-pound Bombay mix fella with a sleek, shiny black patent-leather coat and big golden-globe eyes. I’m one of those Velcro boys who loves to stick close to Foster Meowmy where I can demand endless hours of gentle stroking and loving ear-scritches.” Jax says, “I’m a very sweet, shy, and gorgeous 11-pound mitted gray tabby fella with white encircling my neck and embellishing my chest. Do you like my cute brown half-moustache on my left lip? I love Foster Meowmy’s gentle stroking and loving ear-scritches. She’s learned not to pet me too fast or roughly so that I won’t get scared. When she tickles my belly, I give her well-meaning love-bites. Since they sometimes hurt, she’s learned to focus her petting attention on my ears, chin, and cheeks.” We were less than a year old when we showed up as homeless strays in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood. Initially she trapped, neutered, and released us. After about a year of feeding us, when her last foster kitten had been adopted, she decided that, with a little time and patience, we’d make wonderful indoor companion pets. It did take a while for her to earn our trust, but once she did (thanks to treat rewards!), we’re now all hers!! Boy howdy! With 20-20 hindsight, we much prefer brimming food/ water bowls and climate-controlled indoor life. Our foster home is like an oasis from battling Houston’s derechos, hurricanes, and winter storms. The hardscrabble outdoor life is for the birds! We have some catching-up to do as young adult fellas because playing with toys is an all-new adventure for us! Jax continues, “I’m shy and initially fearful, but, as my BFF, Tomm helps make me feel safe. When I first arrived, I felt overwhelmed. As I felt more comfortable over the next few weeks, I started settling in and exploring my new “digs." I’m confident that, once I figure out any new environment, I’ll feel relaxed and secure.” Please consider adopting us as a bonded pair. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.

This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tomm & Jax #bonded-brothers was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tomm & Jax #bonded-brothers’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tomm & Jax #bonded-brothers’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tomm & Jax #bonded-brothers’s balance will remain in our general fund.
