About this Dog
Meet Rupert! He is a very photogenic and happy boy who loves to play with other dogs and get attention from his people. Rupert loves to come right up and put his chin or head on you to get lots of loving attention, and that combined with his good looks make him a very charming and popular dog. His age is around 2-3 years, so he still has the amount of playful energy of a young dog. He is fully grown, weighing about 70 pounds. Rupert lives in a foster home with quite a few other foster dogs. He would do great in a home with other dogs that will play with him or in a home as an only dog where he gets lots of attention His coat length is medium-long and he is house trained and is very good about waiting to do his business outside, although he has been known to try to mark in the garage a time or two. Rupert loves to go on walks and is being trained with a leash, but has enough energy and excitement to try to help by pulling a decent amount. He is crate trained although isn’t a huge fan of going in the crate unless there is food in there. He does great in the car, and even jumps up into the back seat of his foster dad’s car when it’s time to go for a ride. He knows sit and come, especially when food/treats are a possibility. He has a moderate amount of energy and loves to chew on Nyla-bones. He would do best in a home with a backyard and either other dogs to keep him occupied and happy or time dedicated to playing with him or taking him to the dog park regularly. He does very well with other dogs in almost all circumstances, only having some issues around feeding time. For this reason, he is fed in a crate separate from others, as he is a very hungry boy, and will try to take food from other dogs even when they really don’t want him to. SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Adopt Rupert and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rupert's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Rupert's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Rupert, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Rupert's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rupert was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rupert’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Rupert’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rupert’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
