About this Dog
Meet Mar-teeny! She is sweet and petite! Born around January 2022, she is fine-boned and on the smaller side for a Great Pyrenees. Her ideal weight is 65-70 pounds. Mar-teeny is a total cutie. She has a constant smile on her face, showing her eternally happy disposition. She is so lovable and affectionate. She loves people, loves to be petted, and will climb onto your lap and lay there contentedly. At night, she likes to sleep in her favorite recliner. She has a habit that some might find adorable and some might find annoying. Since she really loves everyone, she comes up to people and wants to hug them by putting her front paws/legs around their waistline. Foster mom is working on ending the habit. Mar-teeny loves dogs, too. She relishes playing with them. If one is resting nearby, she might give them her high-pitched yip sweetly begging them to please play. She has fun playing with toys. She and one of her doggy foster siblings will each grab one end of the same stick and run around the yard to together! She is such a hoot! She also shows her zest for life when she’s outside. She’ll bark at the local chickens, other dogs barking next door, and people walking past her house. Little Mar-teeny is house trained and leash trained. She has no need for a crate. She rides nicely in a car and loads up willingly; she really wants to be up front with you, too. She would do fine in a home with other dogs that will play with her. She might do fine as an only dog if she gets lots of people time. Mar-teeny has environmental allergies which cause her skin to be super itchy and her coat to be dry. Cytopoint has been doing wonders for her lately. It is an injection that lasts 4-8 weeks; the price can be high, so her adopters should be prepared for that ongoing expense. SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Adopt Mar-teeny and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mar-teeny's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Mar-teeny's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Mar-teeny, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mar-teeny's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mar-teeny was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mar-teeny’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Mar-teeny’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mar-teeny’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
