About this Dog
Meet Paulie! He appears to be mostly Pyrenees, as he has the distinct double declaw of a Pyr on one back leg, but only a single declaw on the other. We are guessing he’s between 1 and 1.5 years old. He currently weighs about 70-75 pounds, which is a healthy weight for his size right now, although he may grow just a little more depending on how young he is. Paulie is currently in a foster home with 6 other Great Pyrenees foster dogs, and he loves having other dogs that play with him. He is mostly house trained, this is something that has been improving since he arrived at SPIN, and right now he can go for about 3-4 hours before he gets tempted to go in the house. He loves to go outside for walks and loves going to dog parks to say hello to everyone and run and play with as many dogs as he can. Paulie doesn’t appear to bark much, although this could change if he finds his voice and is in a different home. He is crate trained but is not a big fan of it, with lots of whining to remind you of that. He does ok in the car, he will jump up to go in, but he does get a little nervous in there and drools constantly while riding in the car. He loves to be petted and will walk right up to any stranger he sees with a wagging tail and a head ready to be petted. He has a moderate amount of energy and would do well with long daily walks and/or a buddy to play with throughout the day. He would most likely struggle in an apartment setting, a house with a yard would be the best fit for him. He does great with meeting new dogs and integrated into the pack very quickly when he arrived here. He loves Nyla bones and lying next to his foster siblings. He can be a little growly and play just a little rough when he gets full of himself, but it's always playing, and he will back off if the other dog lets him know when he is being too much. He does not have any food aggression issues with people but will growl some if a dog gets close when he is eating. Paulie loves everybody and just wants to say hi to the world and be everyone’s friend. He does well with kids and is gentle enough to let the kids come to him to pet him, despite his playful nature. Paulie would do well in any home but would do best in a home with other dogs he could play with. SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!

Adopt Paulie and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Paulie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Paulie's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Paulie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Paulie's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Paulie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Paulie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Paulie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Paulie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
