About this Dog
Rocky is about 3 years old and just wants to play and be loved on. He was adopted by my friend for her 3 kids and was told by the rescue that he was a smaller breed. As he quickly grew, her young children were not able to play with him without getting knocked over, bruised by his tail and scratched when he jumped up. He has spent most of his time running in the backyard and when inside the house has been kept in a crate. Now due to some special needs for one of the children, they are moving and were not able to find housing near the facilities they need that allows pets.
Rocky is sweet and loving. He has been around a few other dogs without issue and although the kids may get knocked over a few times, he has never shown any aggression. He's excited to play, see people and get attention. We would LOVE to see him go to a home with a large fenced yard that he can run around in and someone who really loves a larger breed and the energy he comes with.

How will Rocky receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Rocky, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Rocky's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rocky was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rocky’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Rocky’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rocky’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
