About this Dog
We are writing this with heavy hearts to surrender our beloved dog, Bruno. He is approximately 5 years old and has been an irreplaceable part of our family. This decision has not come easily—it is truly one of the most painful choices we’ve ever had to make. Bruno is a gentle, mild-mannered, and loving dog. He is house-trained, playful, and gets along wonderfully with children and other dogs. His kind nature and warm personality have brought endless joy into our home. He has been more than a pet—he’s been family. Sadly, a recent addition to our family has developed a severe allergy to dogs. We have explored every possible solution, but we can no longer provide a safe and healthy environment for both our child and Bruno. It breaks our hearts to let him go, but we know this is what’s best for everyone involved. Our deepest hope is that Bruno finds a new family who will love and care for him as much as we have. He is a truly special dog and will be a loyal, loving companion to anyone lucky enough to have him. Thank you for your compassion and understanding during this incredibly difficult time. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bruno was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bruno’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bruno’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bruno’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
