Meet Oso! This handsome Husky mix is estimated to be between 2–3 years old and weighs in at a solid 75 pounds of love and loyalty. Heartworm negative and full of life, he’s taken everything in stride and still manages to flash a goofy grin through it all. Oso is incredibly dog-friendly—he loves pups big and small—and he hasn’t met a human he doesn’t want pets and attention from. He’s food-motivated (hello, training potential!) and has a sweet, silly personality that’s impossible not to love. He hasn’t quite figured out toys yet, but his playful spirit is just waiting to shine. We’re still learning how he does with cats, so stay tuned for updates! Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Oso's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Oso was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Oso’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Oso’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Oso’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
