About this Dog
This sweet boy is approximately 2 years old, weighs about 45 pounds, and has long white fur with dark brown and black patches. We've been calling him Fred but I'm sure he would learn to respond too something new quickly as we've only had him with us for a couple weeks. We found him living near a truck yard, where he kept returning for the food we left out. His fur was badly matted, so we brought him home and have been caring for him for the past couple of weeks.
He’s had a vet checkup, vaccinations, deworming, and treatment for kennel cough. He hasn’t been neutered yet, and we unfortunately aren’t able to cover that expense.
He is incredibly sweet, loves being around people, and is happiest playing with his chew toys or spending time with you. He still has plenty of puppy energy, which has been a little too much for our older dogs. We’re hoping to find him a loving home with room to play and people who can give him the time, attention, and care he deserves.

How will Fred receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Fred, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Fred's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Fred was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Fred’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Fred’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Fred’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
