About this Dog
I’m looking to rehome my 5-year-old husky. He is incredibly sweet, loyal, and affectionate. He’s the kind of dog that just wants to be by your side, soaking up love and attention. He’s not aggressive at all, just a big, playful goofball with a lot of energy and heart. The only reason I’m looking to rehome him is because he’s unintentionally too much for my little ones. He doesn’t mean any harm, but he doesn’t understand his size or strength, and he often knocks them over just trying to play or move around. Their safety has to come first, no matter how much I love him. He would thrive in a home where he’s the only pet, ideally with someone who has the time to give him the attention and companionship he craves. He really is a loving, gentle soul — just not the best fit for a home with small children. If you or someone you know could open your heart and home to a good boy who just wants to be loved, please reach out. I want nothing more than to see him go to a place where he’ll be cherished like he deserves. 🐾💔

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mateo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mateo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mateo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mateo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
