Lucy Belle is an independent and confident red tabby with the softest fur and cute black freckles around her nose and mouth. She’s affectionate when approached but prefers to keep all four paws on the ground. She absolutely loves being brushed and will purr happily during pampering sessions. She even loves when people pet her tummy, it's her favorite! Playful and curious, Lucy enjoys pipe cleaners and catnip toys, and loves climbing around to explore her space. She’s gentle, well-mannered, and likes to hold little conversations with herself. She’s friendly with adults and older children, though she’s more reserved around noisy people until she warms up. Lucy Belle prefers her alone time on a cozy desk or chair, keeping a watchful eye on everything. She’s selective with other animals, having gotten along with her brother, but preferring to avoid other cats and dogs. Due to some food allergies, Lucy needs a special diet of Royal Canin Selected Protein or RC Hydrolyzed food, with wet food options like Hill’s Z/D. She also requires nebulizing every other day to keep her airways clear. Despite her special needs, she’s a loving, resilient kitty looking for a more quiet and cozy home that understands her unique care.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lucy Belle was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lucy Belle’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lucy Belle’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lucy Belle’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
