About this Dog
Luna is a wonderful dog with people - very loving, cuddly and sweet. She is spayed, house-trained, current on all vaccinations, enjoys being petted, and has a calm temperament. She is a fantastic companion that will lie at your feet or on the couch with you watching TV. She loves to eat and will never turn down a treat and weighs around 65 lbs. We got Luna from the shelter in March of 2022, and the shelter told us she was close to a year old and dog friendly. We have always had multiple dogs, and everything was great for about a year. Then she started to show signs of being dog aggressive. We have been keeping her separate from our other dogs, but as time has gone by it's become worse, and we need to find Luna a home where she is the only animal. The shelter thought she was a mix Belgian Malinois/Shepherd, but when we did the DNA testing the big three were Staffordshire, Piti and Husky. She is a sweet animal with people and everyone loves her but just can't be around other animals. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Luna is participating in the DFW Rescue Me guest dog program, so ongoing care and custody is provided by her foster, not by DFWRM.

Adopt Luna GDP and Receive Luna GDP's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Luna GDP's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Luna GDP's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Luna GDP, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Luna GDP's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Luna GDP was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Luna GDP’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Luna GDP’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Luna GDP’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
