About this Dog
Scout is young and sweet and incredibly intelligent. He is a very social and sociable dog, loves his dog sibling, and really really enjoys being near his people. He likes to cat flop at your feet and get belly rubs. He has not been exposed to cats, but he was raised around young kids and loves them too. He needs direction and activity, but he is learning fast. We've already got him working on sit, stay, walk, and heel. Pulls a little on the leash during walks for a couple minutes but then he calms down. He's so smart and so kind, he just needs someone to take all that intelligence and give it a direction. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Scout is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM

Adopt Scout GDP and Receive Scout GDP's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Scout GDP's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Scout GDP's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Scout GDP, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Scout GDP's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Scout GDP was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Scout GDP’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Scout GDP’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Scout GDP’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
