About this Dog
Missy was a stray, picked up after she tried crossing a busy intersection in Dallas. In her foster home since 11/3/2023 they’ve noted she’s a sweet girl who loves to cuddle and give kisses, then roll onto her back for belly rubs. She does great being crated at night, sleeping through most of the night. Missy is currently learning to stay at home by herself and in her crate for longer periods of time. Missy is potty trained and has had no accidents at home. During play, she gets so happy and excited playing with her toys. She loves rope toys, especially tug-o-war, and likes going on walks. On leash, she tends to pull at first due to her curious nature, but relaxes after just a few minutes. Her favorite thing is falling asleep on her bed after a walk or playtime in the backyard. (Caution! She is known to snore during her naptime.) Missy has interacted with other dogs at the vet and pet stores, where she tends to keep to herself and her exploring mission. At home, she has met her foster sister cats while in her crate, but seems totally non-reactive to them walking or playing around her. She has not yet met the cats outside of her crate. She learns very fast and is already learning basic commands like sit, no, let go and wait… although she does seem to forget them when playing with her toys! If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Missy is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.

Adopt Missy and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Missy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Missy's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Missy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Missy's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Missy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Missy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Missy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Missy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
