About this Dog
Hello my name is: Lumi. My nickname is: "The Lumiest" My breed is: Great Pyrenees My age is: around one year old My favorite thing to eat is: Dog Delights chicken sticks. My funniest quirk is: I like to lie on my back with my paws in the air. What do I get in trouble for: I am a sweet girl. What I dislike the most: The leash, but I am learning to like it. What makes me unique is: that I don't do zoomies or bark much. Where do I sleep: My dog bed Do I love car rides: I like to lie down in the back seat. Where's my favorite place to go: Where my human is Do I like cats: Yes My perfect home would be: Where I can get the love and attention I need to be the best dog ever. Other stuff you should know: My name is Lumi which means "snow" in Finnish. GPRS helped me out of a bad situation. They connected me with my foster mom and gave me the treatments needed to feel better. I was terrified when I first got to my foster home, but my foster family gave me a lot of attention and was very gentle and patient. I still hesitate to come inside the house, but my foster mom tells me it's OK and gives me treats once I am safely inside. :) I have a foster brother who wants to play with me, but I don't know if I trust him yet. He is way bigger than me, and he is kinda stinky! I like relaxing with my foster family, in my dog bed, or on the cool floor. I don't get the zoomies, and I am very quiet unless I hear a siren or my foster brother barks too much. I love being near my foster family and getting lots of attention, like belly rubs or brushing my coat. Outside, I sometimes want to relax by myself in the shade or lie down by my foster mom's feet while on the porch. I want to be adopted by a family who can spend time with me and give me lots of love. I need to learn to trust people again, so my new family must be patient and kind, using soft voices. Leashes make me uneasy, so my new family would have to help me get used to them so that I can go on long walks in the future. It would be great to have another dog companion, as I may get lonely when my humans are not at home. Adopt Lumi and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lumi's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Lumi's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Lumi, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lumi's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lumi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lumi’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Lumi’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lumi’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
