About this Dog
Daisy is the shyest of all the puppies, and she is the most timid of all the puppies. She is a little lady, and when they other puppies are jumping up for treats or attention, she will sit back and wait her turn. We had to start making her let us pick her up and cuddle her because she would stay back, almost like she was afraid of us, but now she knows that we mean love and kindness, and she comes up and politely asks to be picked up and cuddled. She will rest her head on your shoulder and gently lick your face. Shortly after we found the puppies, one of them tore the end of Daisy's right ear, and we wonder if that was why she was so stand offish for a while. We also think that's why she doesn't have floppy puppy ears - because she got to holding them in a different position after that happened. It has since healed but she has a little scar. She is playful and loves everyone. She does well with cats and is friendly with other dogs. Her foster home has children (ages 13, 9, and 6) and she does well with all of them. Daisy loves to be held and snuggled, she loves to run and play chase, and she loves toys and bones. She is very active and will do best in a home with a yard large enough for her to run and with a family that will take her on walks. She is well socialized with her littermates, and she will do well being socialized with other friendly dogs from a young age. She plays with our cats, and will do well with cats as she gets older if she is around them often enough to not be overly excited when she sees one. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Daisy is participating in the DFW Rescue Me guest dog program, so ongoing care and custody is provided by her foster, not by DFWRM.

Adopt Daisy GDP and Receive Daisy GDP's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Daisy GDP's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Daisy GDP's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Daisy GDP, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Daisy GDP's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Daisy GDP was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Daisy GDP’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Daisy GDP’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Daisy GDP’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
