About this Dog
Meet Betty! Born August 31, 2024, she is a very nosy, curious little girl! We think she’ll weigh around 80 pounds when she’s fully grown. Betty is leash trained and is great on walks! She’d be great for someone who wants a Pyr but doesn’t want to have to deal with the fluff! She’s totally got the coat of a Lab, but still that chill attitude where 70% of the day is for napping! Sweet Betty gets along nicely with the other large male and female dogs in her foster home. She loves running and exploring the yard with them. She is potty trained, and she rings a bell when she wants to go outside! She is kennel trained and goes into her kennel on her own for naps. OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor. 2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy. 3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly. 4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors. https://youtu.be/R6N8STRl2aI0 SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!

Adopt Betty and Receive Betty's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Betty's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Betty's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Betty, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Betty's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Betty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Betty’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Betty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Betty’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
