Meet Alfie, a playful 5-month-old tabby who was rescued off the streets with his sister, Sasha. Since living with his foster family, he has turned from always being fearful to a brave and outgoing kitten who loves to play with his sister Sasha, and his older foster brother Sherlock. He would thrive in a home with another cat (especially with his sister Sasha) or even with a dog. His favorite toy is a wool fish and mouse garland his foster mom got a Trader Joes over Christmas. He enjoys taking naps in the sun on the windowsill and in Costco crate cardboard boxes. He loves to curl up next to your feet while you’re in bed with a book or enjoying a nap. He has a loud but sweet-sounding purr, and he loves being petted, especially on his neck and behind his ears. Christmas is his favorite holiday, and he and his sister frequently visited and napped under the Christmas tree. He has recently discovered his love of Temptation treats and will love you forever if you give him a Churu wet treat.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Alfie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Alfie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Alfie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Alfie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
