Meet Lacy Lacy is a 1 - 2 year old Rottweiler mix. Super sweet girl weighs 41 lbs. Lacy was unfortunately found dumped with another dog on a rural county road in north Texas. Left alone on the side of a dirt road with a bag of food. Despite being dumped she’s as sweet as can be. She’s still young and is learning about leashes and manners. She is learning quickly in her foster home and will be a perfect pup in no time. She listens well and understands sit and get down. She is crate trained and house trained. Shes been a good girl with zero accidents. She loves to cuddle, get pets and play ball. She gets along with other dogs, cats and would do well with older kids. She is a velcro pup and loves to follow her humans everywhere . She likes to sit at your feet while you cook or do dishes. She will be fully vetted on Friday, 2/26 and ready for adoption. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lacy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lacy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lacy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lacy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
