Meet Muffin!Foster Notes:She is a 3 year old mix that is a very active dog. She needs an active home with a fenced in yard. She loves to go for rides in the car and gets along well with other dogs. She can play rough with the roughest of dogs but does not like being dominated. She does well with my cat but she is never left unattended with her so I would not guarantee this. She is housebroken and crate trained. Iâve been trying to put weight on her to little avail. Sheâs been wormed regularly, she is on heartworm meds, immunized, spayed and microchipped. I did have a DNA on her and she is German Shepherd, Bloodhound mix with Some Doberman and chow way back. She is very protective of the property and alerts. If you are looking for a good watch dog, she is the girl. I have never had her around children but I canât imagine her not getting along with children. I would worry more about her knocking them over.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and MUFFIN was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, MUFFIN’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the MUFFIN’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, MUFFIN’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
